Curacao to St Maarten via Bonaire..

We (me and John) moved lastnight/morning to Bonaire, no wind so Mercedes power..
Looks like friday wind will show up, so we will go to SXM then, probably 4 or 5 days sailing..

Looking forward for the next few days of sailing and new adventures! / Swedish J and Grattis pa fodelsedagen mamma!

Prop shaft cut in 2, Condor almost fully painted sides...

Ha, did not plan to fully paint the Condor, but had the paint and the time, so 'off white' looks good on the boat again..
Prop shaft was different koekie.. The engine side of the prop shaft was not to be freed of a cone shaped metal holding device... The, not anymore so good, shaft was bent at the prop end heavily, so it had to get out for straightening, and cutless bearing also did not come out, so we decided to cut the prop shaft and fit a new one. So no splash Monday, probably Wednesday because Tuesday they do not work..
Winds (normally always 20-25knots NE-E-sometimes even SE) are gone on Wednesday for the rest of the week, no good for sailing. Pitty, plans now are... wait and see

Popshaft problems and some more painting, transome and sides (a bit)

No rest.. long day's.. Monday back in water

Rain, the plastic cutless bearing wont come out, I chisel down (got stuck and broken of inside..). Need to get more tools..
Then the transom to be done, small hole in the keel (wtf?) to repair and then try to do part of the sides to..
Because we need to be sailing Wednesday after dark work goes on inside the Condor, not enough space.. Paint cans everywhere etcetc..
Make Condor ready to beat up the wind for 7 days, yeah, no problem...

Ribs hurt, so help comes flying in Tuesday to sail to SXM...
