Cor 1 ... Sun Mar 22nd... While here in Paradise...

Pics etc from the past week
Cheers..

Old dinghy, beyond repair.. or in other words..  I can't find the leak (s) and more shit..

Not even nice weather here..

Relief...   a better one..
Strange dinghy..  has sort of ores but no doll's or anything to use ores in..
double bottom and front locker, very sturdy (77kg compared to 34kg for old WalkerBay Ultralight of same length..)

Hard one is Robert's

Heineken Regatta Finish boat A/B Catamaran we brought back to Marigot..

Heineken Regatta Finish boat A/B Catamaran we brought back to Marigot..
Ouch.. +9 again compared to the 100 a few month ago..

KLM ..  one of the last flights?  Ready for take of.. 18.15

Frans in front of me, Bojangles behind me..  Below..  boats with AIS on SXM  (Automatic Identification System.. Condor does not have a active one)

So French side in Lock Down,
people can only be on street with good reason AND on paper,
otherwise fine of 135euro or something..

Dutch side more relaxed so far, but SXM PM asked today the Dutch for Military Assistance..
probably heading to same situation as on french side but not enough people to enforce it..

Some 100 boats with me here on French side lagoon,
some owners were able to fly out but left boat...
Can't clear in or out,
and also nowhere to go.....
all islands/countries closed down.. (except for BVI??)

 Freedom is gone..

But in few month Hurricane season comes
and that is also not something to just ignore..
So we will have to be able to move south

or avoid Hurricanes

or risk losing boat here..

Atlantic waters are heating up and running Temperatures above normal...  No chances for El Ninjo needed for 'shear' winds from the Pacific.. needed to take the top of systems preventing hurricane shit..

BTW in Great Bay there are 2 Dutch Koole barges with cranes already here waiting since  December to start cleaning up lagoon etc..
Never gone happen it looks like..

Interesting times ahead,
could well be very challenging..

We'll sea

Cheers..
