Antigua Yacht Club (again)

Appointment:  Got a day delayed..
So HH Happy Hour tuesday 17th at Lagoonies..



Got call from Logan Wednesday , OnDeck chief instructor for Yacht Master courses in Antigua that he has to go to St Maarten to get his medical done (every 2 years to keep Yacht Master valid..)

So I left day later with nice weather forecast, 14knt from east all the way, 180nm..  in the ernd I did 230nm, had every wind direction BUT not East, mostliy hardly any wind from North East and North, there where I had to go..
And Yesterday very wet 2.
Near Guadeloupe I could see that wind would drop totaly before turning South East and 20+ knts, so down wind, that's better.. So I put main away before the wind started building up, and rolled part of Genoa, and was sill doing 6,7 and even easy 8 knts..

So I also had time to clean up before entering Falmouth, shaved and had a bath..  Luxury..

Coming in at dark with plenty wind so this much Genoa was still enough for 6+ knots speed...

Taking diesel and water before leaving Le Marin Martinique Thursday 1700

 Cumming in down 20+knts wind into Falmouth Harbor, very dark, roiling and could not run engine harder then 1700rpm, that is slightly more then idle..

 Was finally in at 2230, got quick beer at Cloggies where Sophie was looking good..

 Very windy and wet and gray here in Antigua
