2015 St Maarten National Lagoon Championships

Leaving Carriacou... back to St Maarten..

Sat 1100...  ready to go..
takes normally 2.5 days but little wind.. 
Last 3 weeks it always looked to get better wind wise if you looked 7-10 days ahead but in the end..  there is not a lot..

Odd-shaped bottom -dwellers.. Flying Gurnards

Ofcource I'm odd-shaped, but under my boat I find these 'fish' using their front 'claws' to find food in the sand...
So swiming a bit, fitting anodes on propshaft etcetc..
Like this place, good Anchorage in the sand and no rolling .. no waves..  perfect..

Sophie's shade...

Nicely possitioned in Sophie's shade in my bean bag..
No wind from all directions, just turning around my anchor..

 And the Sunday hamburger lunch at Slipway with Bob, Lia, Peter, Els and the crew from the 'George'....

Glad to be back in the water after few days of hard work on hot shore...

 With a lot of thanks to Peter, helped me a lot last day to get propshaft problems solved..
